Aubergine Flower

Before today, I'd never seen an Aubergine flower. I didn't think that they had flowers, they just festered grew and then turned to evil when you cooked them. I now know they have flowers and are growing on our terrace.

I think this means that at some point we'll have Aubergines. I am not fond of Aubergines* (or any foodstuff beginning with 'A'**). I hope we're growing them to give them away as presents although I am prepared to concede this is an unlikely outcome.

This has become an ear worm for many, many people. Do not click on it if you are rxs. Poor soul has been singing it for days.

Finished studying for the exam tomorrow. and I'm feeling good about my chances. It's another Zertifikat if I pass and they're always good to have here.

*I did quite like Imam Bayildi but that might have been due to the accompanying glass of champagne.

** And changing the name to Eggplant doesn't work. Or melanzana.
