Froglet?

I need help, from the nature expert blippers,to help identify accurately this little fella.

Out for a short walk this afternoon between showers / downpours, I noticed movement on the path. There were literally hundreds of these tiny creatures, all jumping in the same direction towards the stream at the side of the path. They were less than 1 cm in length, so presumably very young.
