Spoke too soon

So my sign-off line yesterday was that today I'd be back in the land of decent broadband.

Well, I'm back, but the broadband is far from decent. Our supposed 200Mbit connection is currently delivering about 1Mbit. Hmmm...

The nice lady from Virgin Media booked us in for an engineer's visit on Tuesday morning, which isn't bad since we only called at 6pm and aren't available on Monday. Till then, we're going to have to survive like it's 1995. (Actually, it's worse than that because the TV service is broken too. God forbid, we might have to talk to each other.)

Oh, the journey home was fine, if a bit long, thanks for asking. Tired now, though.
