Pepperpot

It is Dr T's last full day here before he heads back to South Wales tomorrow, and since the weather was kinder, we went for a long circular walk.  It brought us up through Eaves Wood and past the Pepperpot looking down over Morecambe Bay, and here Dr T is sat with Gus as the sun was going down in the Bay beyond.  If anyone is hoping for a better view of Gus, there is an Extra of him.

We haven't had the best weather this week, and I spent the better part of yesterday in Manchester while Gus and Dr T went for local walks around Arnside and Storth.

We arrived home this afternoon to find that Wifie had arrived back from her week away before us, so it was just as well that we had tidied and hoovered before we left for the afternoon walk.

I now have a back-up battery for the camera, so hopefully there should be no repetition of the frustrating episode last week of arriving to see a sunset only to find the battery was dead.
