The Ever-Changing Skyline of Phnom Penh

The amount of green netting across the city is conspicuous; buildings in various stages of construction. Even in the two months I've been away, more and more plots have been cleared for new developments and old art deco villas fenced off for demolition. There is suspicious movement on a huge plot metres from the back of our office, which would mean horrendous construction noises for those left working there and an end to quiet toilet breaks zoning out behind the shutters. Maybe the sedate life in Aceh appeals after all...
