The Silent Type

I was able to go to a reception at the zoo where we were given access to several animals up close and person. This penguin was one of them. I'm not quite sure she was happy to be around so many people, but the people were definitely happy to be around her. It was hard to get a shot of her with everyone's camera going off, but I managed to slide myself in and grab a few good shots then slid back out again. It's not every day that I am given such up close access to the zoo animals so I had to take advantage of it. I really enjoyed myself and this little gal.
