I spent today examining Fork Lift Truck instructors in Bromsgrove.

Imagine my surprise when I asked Vernon where he was from and he told me, Zambia!

We purposely did not chat until after his examinations were over, but then I found he was originally from Lusaka and had family in Ndola, where Bananablip is based. He is going back to Ndola later this year to belatedly celebrate a family wedding.

He readily agreed to me taking his photograph and posting it on blip and said he would check it out later.

Vernon, if you're reading this, many congratulations on a very successful day. I hope you will have much success in your career, whether here or back home. You deseved the result you got.
