Busy Saturday Morning

The weather is so horrible outside, I decided it was a day for staying in and cooking. I usually leave this sort of thing to Mr M and Miss M, but I was in the mood for it today.

I made lemon cheesecake to take to a friend's house tomorrow - we've been invited for lunch, pancakes for the boys' breakfast and banana loaf just because there were over-ripe banana as that needed using up.

There's now a roasted squash, sweet potato and onion soup underway - using the squash that I blipped a few days ago. That's going to be for lunch.

I'm also going to make a tomato and basil soup for the freezer this afternoon. It's definitely soup time of year:)
