A close shave .......

........ but nothing to do with Wallace & Gromit!

There were lots of Sparrows on the feeders & 2 Collared Doves picking up what dropped when ....... all of a sudden ...... they all flew off at a 'rate of knots'. But why?

At first I thought it might be a cat ....... looked & there was the Kestrel!!! That answered the question ....... it was swooping backwards & forwards across one of the bushes ....... trying to flush out one of the Sparrows that had dived in there to hide! After a few passes it got fed up & flew off empty handed with empty talons! A bad day for the Kestrel ..... but a good day for the Sparrows!!!

Had to backblip this ....... as I was unable to access Blip yesterday afternoon ....... at first all I kept getting was 'timed out' notification ..... then I got a 'temporary shut down' notice ....... phew! I had thought for a while that maybe Blip was 'no more' ..... nasty moment!!! Thankfully it is back up & running today :-)))))
