Tournament Leaders

Backblip:  On this day, I played in an end-of-cycle golf tournament.  It was followed by an outdoor picnic dinner and award distribution.  My partner and I were the first twosome to be awarded cash prizes, 4th place in our category.  The prize was $16.00 to be shared between us.  We were of course thrilled to have won.  However, after all the prizes were distributed, one group 'expressed disappointment' because of their better score and wondered why they were not considered for winnings.  The leaders reviewed the scores, took our winnings and gave them to the concerned twosome.  Be it as it may, it was a fun day.
