And the band played on .....

We've had a great day at the Buttercross Farm, just up the road, as they were holding a  ....  dare  I  say it ?? ....  Christmas Fayre.
They had invited lots of local crafters, some local  foodie people and the Trentham Brass Band. A highlight of the day was a tour of the Farm's factory where we saw the start and  finish of sausage and bacon production which was really interesting.  We all looked very fetching in our white coats and hairnets - not!!

A really lovely day - I bought a few bits from the craft stalls for grandchildrens' stockings and C pressies, tasted lots of local produce and loved the Brass Band (who featured in one of my blips last year when they played for a friend's 60th Tea Party).

This was the Farm's first foray into  putting on an event such as this - hope they repeat it next year as we all thought it was a great success.

PS:  Guess what we're having for dinner tonight ........................ ??!
