To write something or not? 

Like many people today, my blip reflects the awful events in Paris last night. And because there are also other places and people that have suffered similar senseless violence this week, it reflects that too. Two bombs at a market in Beirut on Thursday evening that ISIS also claims responsibility for. It could have a serious impact on a very fragile political situation.

Beirut used to be known as 'the Paris of the Middle East'. This week they're connected in a different and traumatic way.
