Save our Greenbelt!

Our small town, Bridge of Allan, has two controversial proposed housing developments at either end - Airthrey Kerse and Park of Keir.

So it was good today to see Edinburgh student Helen Edmund doing an awareness exercise in the town focusing on Airthrey Kerse as part of her college project on the environment.

She has unearthed some interesting facts – that there are 36 brownfield sites around Stirling according to the Stirling Council land audit 2014 which could be used for housing. She went back the other day to check her facts to find that the file has been removed from the web site.
