Packhorse Water Trough

This water trough, on the old packhorse trail between Lancashire and Yorkshire is in Mankinholes (nr Todmorden), and was used to water strings of packhorse ponies.   It's very unusual (being so long) and has constant fresh running water - although there was plenty of other water around today.
