Thanksgiving Pumpkin

We arrived back today from our travels south.  I
photographed one of my volunteer pumpkins
for my "I'm glad to be back home"  bliphototo.
These sweet little pumpkins just appeared as
a vine in my vegetable garden this past summer.
I have been very interested in their markings that
surround their stems.  I will cook one to see if it is
worthy of its charming markings.

Our trip went well, but there is no place like home!
