New toys

Meanwhile in the laboratory....I am testing all kinds of genetic barcoding. Basically, I am trying to 'read' pieces of DNA of aphids and the roots they feed on. Today I received a bunch of new primers, which help me target specific pieces of DNA. Exciting! Now fingers crossed for good results :)
