I Do

A random chance encounter today. I was having lunch with a friend in a cafe when a stranger came up and asked if we would be a witness to their wedding. My friend had to refuse as he had to go back to work but I said yes. They had a friend who said they would step in if they were short of a witness and off we went!!!! We took a cab to the Town Hall and they changed into posh clothes. They were a lovely couple. They are off to Tenerife tomorrow for their honeymoon. We swapped details so I can send pictures. A fabulous afternoon. I wish them a wonderful life together.
