Fons Trompenaars

That is the name of the HR Guru whom I listened to this morning... in case you're scratching your head about the title!

VERY early start today - 5:45 wake up to be at the venue by 7am only to find I wasn't needed till 8am! Argh. Anyway, the highlight of the day would be to listen to Fons Trompenaar - a Dutch HR guru (who would have thought) who was extremely entertaining, informative, thought-provoking and very non-politically correct! As you can imagine; he told it like it is.

Went back to the camera shop after work and was very relieved to find that on Gs camera - it was a wrong setting and problem easily corrected and mine didn't have a problem at all. So all sorted then. Couple of other errands and there's just enough time to do this before getting to bed. I shall try to catch up with you over lunch tomorrow.

My extra is more a visual reminder for me of Fons' book... He really was very accurate and down to earth.
