I walk past this painting of a hare every day on my walk to and from the train station to the office. I love how his huge ears are pricked up and his eyes fixed firmly ahead with the purple and green hedgerow behind.
The portrait reminds me of Watership Down - one of my favourite childhood stories. One day I'll make it to the gallery store when it's open to take a closer look at the paintings.
In the meantime Mr Hare is a welcome sight every morning as I climb the hill up the road, especially in the drizzle and wind on days like today!
