John Archer* Memorial Concert

Just back from a splendid performance of Carmen by Chorale Excelsior and Sinfonia Excelsior at the Heriot-Watt. The concert was dedicated to those affected by the events in Paris last Friday, which included a member of staff who was at the stadium and a group from the University who were in the city at that time; all returned home safely.

My blip, taken when the instruments were laid down during the interval, is of a tympanum, the extra of the harp, looking particularly regal.
