On a cold winter's day

Oh that's right, I forgot. It's summer, not winter, but bugger that. A huge pan of spicy carrot and lentil soup for lunch today.

The weather is freakishly weird and unreliably rubbish. Lots of our summer fairs and events have been cancelled recently due to the unpredictable inclement weather, and Big Pixie's sports day was another cancellation today as it's so wet underfoot.

And whilst I'm in a wintry mood, I'm planning what colour wool to use for a crochet blanket...
