Commemoration Plaque

There are often visitors to the village of Bywell. Quite unusually Bywell has two churches in close proximity. Just over the fence around the church of St. Peters are a couple of plaques, which I'm sure go unnoticed. This one commemorates Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee in 1897 where an oak tree was planted and still stands. The extra photo is of St. peters church and I just caught the second oak tree to the right which was also planted in 1897.
