After the Storm

The high winds duly arrived in the early evening  but storm "Barney" moved on after a couple of hours to wreak havoc elsewhere. By morning the sky had mostly cleared so managed to make an early start to see a glorious sunrise over nearby Godshill Ridge.

With the first blip pic in the bag, after breakfast I drove to Bolderwood a popular area of the forest but midweek at this time of year very quiet with just a few hikers and dog walkers around. During a pleasant walk I tried some double exposure images for a soft focus look a couple of which are shown in the extras.

After lunch in Lyndhurst I had planned to go back into the forest but the changeable weather conditions continued with clouds and rain rolling in yet again. By late afternoon the rain had gone making way for a red sky sunset.

As usual pics look better on the black background.
