The rough with the smooth

Decided to try abstract, as it is Abstract Thursday.  So ... after some faffing about and getting nowhere, putting colours together, I decided to go for something monochrome and chose this Surform blade photographed against a lightbox. 

Some progress on the house move today as our bank have climbed down off their fence and said we can move the mortgage. So now, their surveyor can go off and do whatever he or she does for their several hundred pounds and we might well be another step closer to moving and possibly getting the surform out of the toolbox for a different reason :-)

And yes,  Derelict Sunday runs again this weekend,  Maisiebeth and I are looking forward to going through the entries so please do have a go ....
