WORK IN PROGRESS

The old Anton Bauer is progressing well. Have replaced all the major cracks in the table with slivers of spruce, & re-glued the braces under the table where they'd parted company.

This weekend I'll be scanning a tracing of the reconstituted original bridge & drawing a new improved version in CorelDraw to be cut out in beautiful ebony next week. The original was made in pear wood which was stained black. Trouble is, the stain used has rendered the pear wood a bit crumbly!
