Goodbye Kayla

A sad goodbye to Kayla today. She stayed overnight with us and lay under the kids table as they ate breakfast! We walked her to school, then a short walk in the woods before Dad and Margie arrived for breakfast with us. They had kindly been accomodated by Mary and Jim so managed a more lesiurely morning.

Cattoo babysat last night while Martin and I took our parents out for a well overdue meal that we gave to them for their Christmas 2013! Various events have delayed it, but it was fabulous. A great evening at the Silver Darlings with wonderful company.

Goodbye Kayla. You are my favourite guide dog puppy so far (shh, dont tell the others!) and I think the rest of the family feel similarly. You will be a valued companion to somebody.x

Also, cheerio to Dad and Margie who will be away travelling and visiting for the next wee while. Have a great time and will see you for Christmas (at easter) in Glenelg!
