GOOGLE AND NEW FRIENDS INDEED!

A couple of visits I was really looking forward to, first to Leila Thomson's tapestry gallery at Hoxa. Even G was mightily impressed, until I reached for my purse. Well, if you don't buy it when you're there and all that. At least I only bought framed prints, rather than the original tapestries which were on sale for thousands. Only because I haven't got enough space on the walls though ..... she jokes!

Then it was up to Hoxa Head and a walk amongst the gun emplacements, a place of both beauty and sadness. Four Puffins in their summer splendour and the waving pink Sea Thrift were a cheering sight.

We returned to our earlier bird watching beach below Hoxa Head and I wandered happily on the sands, then it was lunch finished off with the scrumptious cakes we had bought from Hoxa Head Café, and their Shortcake was delicious too.

We then drove round the coast to see if I could bump into a blipper, and yes, there was Poppy with Ollie the dog in the front garden. Thank you Poppy, it was wonderful to meet you, and Ollie, and M, and it was a super walk and chat along the cliff top. You live in such a beautiful place, and have such lovely neighbours. I know I am posting my photo many days after but I couldn't resist this one, so we have blip-snapped!Otherwise it would have been the fork in the barn wall!

Home to yet another sunset and I could never tire of them.
