Archie, Down!

Archie seems to be a quick leaner. I must admit, I'm not by any stretch of the imagination, a dog whisperer trainer. But he seems to grasp the concepts of what I want him to do pretty quick!

I started teaching him his name, then 'sit', which he mastered pretty fast. Teaching him 'down' seems to have taken about 2 training sessions of 5 minutes. He really likes playing the training games for a wee treat.

Now, I can say 'archie down' from across the room and he instantly goes down. Not bad for a nine week old pooch! (Sometimes he doesn't listen, but most I the time he's good!)

It might get slightly more tricky when I try to teach him more complicated commands...
