Digging ........in the rain

A community project to plant trees co-ordinated by The Rotary Club of Strathaven with help of pupils of Strathaven Academy got-off to a very wet-start this morning as the heavens opened at the wrong time.

Oak, Beech and Hornbeam should have a good start next spring after settling-in over the winter in the moist rich soil.
