Tree-gate

Our next door neighbours had been getting a little disgruntled with the giant tree in our back garden. Half of it hung over onto their side of the fence and it did a great job of blocking most of the sunlight into their garden. So when they asked us if they could prune it a bit we obviously agreed. However, once their 18 year old gardeners apprentice got hold of it, there was little left except a stump and a few bare branches. It looked such a sorry state that we had to call the gardener back to put the poor thing out of its misery. Safe to say Craig was not happy about this state of affairs. Not one bit. Tree-gate is still an unspoken topic. As an apology, said neighbour brought round a massive bunch of sunflowers. We are truly in suburbia now!!
