Sunset near home.

Sunlight hit the far hills as the sun was setting past an unseen horizon, beyond the hills behind me. This was the closest we came to the sun today! It gave us a lovely, and slightly strange light.
The cold temperatures mean the lake here is half iced over, giving variation in the reflections. There was a harsh wind blowing which chilled us but also meant the unfrozen  part of the lake stayed that way.
Still no snow here, even though the newspapers were full of pictures of London covered in a layer of the white stuff - seems unfair!
