Shadows Before Bed

You can just about see what time it is.
These are simple mechanical shadows, (no people), that caught my attention just before I got under the covers. Ok, you had to be there.

Certain qualities of this week's abstracts caught my attention as well.
-there are a number of you really looking at your surroundings and isolating scenes without distractions. So I would call these natural abstracts that are straightforward blips with next to no processing
-kaleidoscopes or symmetry are becoming popular and they are always intriguing for their simplicity in repetitions
-two blippers did their actual colored pencils and that was a pretty surprising subject to show up twice
-fire showed up twice also; always good subject matter but tricky to work with
-one of my favorite techniques is a slow shutter, on tripod or not, it really conveys movement well and leaves a lot to the imagination
-forms of glass, and types of water also show up pretty consistently; either separate or in combination and usually result in a calming surreal image

Thanks again! And do not forget Derelict Sunday, DS5!
