Learning day by day

Winter Wonderland

So we woke to snow, but it was short lived. By the time we headed out for violin it was all gone. He did reasonably well at his lesson, despite the building excitement for the day ahead. We have started preparation for fingers, very exciting.

After a meltdown due to excitement we finally headed up to school for Winter Wonderland. He headed straight to the Secret Present Room and had to be dragged out in time for the Wonderland Express. He received a great book from Santa. N&P sorted lunch out for C & W while I did an hour on the tea bar.

The picture is of Will doing his School Council Duty on the stall. It was 50p to have two goes at guessing Stuart's birthday! This was what he was most excited about, I was back on the tea bar.

After it all finished and some tiding up had been done, we walked into town to see what was left of the Food Festival. We managed to get daddy some Goats cheese with chilli from Wobbly Bottom farm and then headed for coffee. Both kids started letters to various people, but I hadn't the patience to help both of them, so as soon as I had finished my drink we walked home.

They had tea, I had a bath and a glass of cava. Will went to bed, we watched most of SCD then C went to bed. Early morning tomorrow. We have to be in Tring before 9am!
