Beijing Opera

I would never have imagined that I would enjoy this traditional(old-fashioned) art so much. It was always considered as something for more mature people, like my nan...yeah right, not even my parents.

Some of the tunes are very familiar, enjoyed a lot, but obvious enjoyed more on the dances(fights).
The plays were both about wars, so a lot of fighting scenes involved. It was more gymnastic than dancing, which makes you heart racing and gasp! Adrenaline gets high and you can easily feel the tension on the battlefield. And you are allowed to encourage the actors by cheering in the middle of the show!

The interaction is fun!
