'Goldfinga!!!'

Second day of the walkover and assessment near Douglas. Yesterday may have been tough, but today was W E T. The heavens opened and it absolutely poured down. Had to go and view a scheduled monument near Douglas. Looked at a map and as the crow flies, it wasn't that far away, however, there was a motorway in the way. Cue parking near a service station and traipsing along the side of the motorway. Not much fun.

This chap is James, Earl of Angus. Lovely memorial to who I would imagine, was a bit of a religious extremist. He's gesturing towards the coutnryside around Douglas where he raised the 'Cameronians'.
