Yangon, at last

Well we are here after a 24 hour journey from home to Dubai, to Bangkok, to Yangon. We are so tired but stayed up to go out for food. A mishmash or European (pizza), Japanese (sushi), Chinese (sritfry) on a buffet for £6. Bed now, as we have a 6.30 am start. It is hot - 34 degrees and humid.

Wobbly pic from our taxi on the way to the hotel. The one I really wanted was too fuzzy - of a woman in jeans and a man in his skirt, the longhi. Feels like home, men in skirts! The Burmese look so willowy, elegant and smiley.

Not allowed to talk politics in a public place but we can speak to our guide on the bus.
