Funeral /Celebration

Said goodbye to Pete today, at a very fitting service - who else but Pete would have Sympathy For The Devil playing at the end of the service??!!
I did lose it a little during Swing Low Sweet Chariot, as the words really hit home. Or it could have been because I'm Welsh! I can imagine Pete smirking at me singing that!

It was then on to the Harlequins ground. Pete was a huge rugby fan, so a good place for his send-off. Saw some old Our Price colleagues, and we all agreed that we were all the better for knowing him.

I didn't hang around for long as it was quite a drive back home, but am so glad I went. I shall miss him terribly.
