Testing Day

SUNDAY

London Day 1

Arrived at Huddersfield Station to find all trains cancelled due to signalling fault The replacement coach made a 30 minute detour to Dewsbury to drop off one person so we were all late arriving at Leeds and I missed my connection to London. The Virgin train staff were not very helpful and told me I wouldn't get a seat on the next train. But I did.  People were standing on the train for the 2-hour journey.

Had dinner at an old favourite - Casa Madeira in Vauxhall. Everyone there seemed to be in party mood. Complimentary wine.
