Striking Matches

I've been to quite a few country music gigs this year, but I think that tonight's Striking Matches performance at Shepherd's Bush Empire was the best of the lot. They are from America and very much at the rock end of the country music spectrum. Lots of brilliant songs and definitely some of the best rock guitar playing I have heard for a long, long time. Highly recommended - they're going to be back in the UK again in March.
