We Are All Learners

This is a shot of Cafe Nova a new community project in West London in association with The Flyover. The interior design of the bar was done by a very talented friend of mine, on a tiny shoe string budget. The timber cladding to the bar was sourced from the squash courts in a nearby leisure centre!

The high level blackboard on the right says:

Cafe Nova is a charity run cafe.
All our staff are volunteers who are looking for employment and to improve their english.

In these times of financial uncertainty you realise that it's communities that make the world a richer place, not money and with the ongoing exposure of corruption and greed in the banking industry it seems to me that the pride of Britain is not its 'financial services sector' but its communities.
