.......Admiral


 
This is the first Admiral butterfly to emerge. 

Earlier in the month I photographed this chrysalis so I am pleased to record the result of one of nature’s miracles. I missed the actual event, but I think this is very soon after.  I have also included another taken later as an extra photo.

Thank you for your comments stars and the two special hearts for yesterdays shed. The roof might look ok, but the ‘floor’ consists of tall grass which would suggest there aren’t any floor boards – perhaps there weren’t any in the first place!
