Stadium Way

I wrapped up warm at lunchtime for a plod and headed off campus towards the town. I found a new route that took me through St James Park. Campus is in the distance - the tall building is the Physics Tower and the crane is busy finishing off the new Living Systems building. It looks miles away in this shot but is fairly close as it only took about 30 minutes and 5.5k stepsfor the round trip.

We had our usual mad dash home on Monday to grab a quick bite to eat before Ian headed out with Leo for footie training and I headed out bell ringing. Monday has become soup night as it is the easiest thing to get ready in about 10 minutes if you have prepped it (or bought it) and can give it a quick warm through.

And the good news is, thanks to a sodden pitch, Saturday's footie match is moving to the school playing field which means we have a travel time of around 2 minutes! So a more leisurely start to Saturday awaits. I may well take a hot water bottle to that one.
