High Flying Birds

A very large formation of Canada Geese flew overhead as I went up the hill to my studio. Their loud honking could be heard for several minutes even though they were over 10,000 feet high. The resident geese fly back and forth from pond to pond to lake, but the migrants, even though they are the same species, soar very high and head for southern climes. See you in the spring, honkers...
