At the Lowry

Spent a pleasant afternoon at the Lowry today, had a look at Jem Southams images and also the guardian photographers exhibition. Took ages to get through Stockport and Manchester but did find a quicker way out :)

Jems images are sublime landscapes, his usual mixture of large and small prints. Beautiful work and interesting narrative.

This image is the Lowry, took loads around the Quay area but this one I quite liked for the angles. A couple of others are here probably a bit of Maholy-Nagy creeping in :)
