Ashness

Must be one of the wettest walks I have ever been on today. Our son has the builder in and as he was on night shift he came over to us this morning for a sleep.
We went out to leave him in peace, we had his dog with us, so another borrowed dog today.
Walked from Great Wood car park and along the path below Falcon Crag to Ashness Bridge. We were going to walk back along the lake shore but the lake was too high, so had to walk back along the road.
We had our lunch at the dog friendly Pheasant (Keswick) the hot chocolate and coal fire were more than welcome.
