Distant Hill

The distant hill here is Causey Pike. It poured with rain all morning so we just walked along the eastern shore of Derwentwater with our friends G and P who have joined us for a few days.
The lake has been way above normal levels recently and the roots of the trees are more and more exposed when this happens, as the soil gets washed away. This tree looks safe for the time being.
The extra is the other three walking along through the still colourful trees at the edge of the lake.
