Rider Fan at the Festival of Trees

S and some friends went to the Western Development Museum today to see the Festival of Trees entries. The theme was Hollywood Tinsel Town so there were glamour entries, some based on movies (Star Wars and Grinchmas trees in extras), some focused on particular leading ladies (Judy Garland, Marilyn Monroe). The trees are auctioned off at a gala dinner at huge prices in aid of a local hospital. They will be at the museum for a week before they are collected by their new owners. Pleasant outing for the ladies though the driving was treacherous as a forecast of flurries turned into a real snow dump. D is out with the snow blower now.
