I spent my morning at the hairdressers, which, always a hive of industry, was buzzier than usual. This was due to the fact that one of their regular customers was in for a trim, a guy who's local to the city but also very well known on German TV.

Henning Baum is the 'star' of a long running show 'der Letzte Bulle'*, I've never watched it, but I'm thinking I might need to give it a go, seeing as this guy could read the ingredients off the back of a Pot Noodle** in German and still sound sexy...


* Bulle is probably best translated here as 'pig', in the police sense of the word, as opposed to farmyard.
** other dehydrated, unhealthy, teen snacks are available
