Rock on!

The World Press Photo exibition was in the "der AA kerk", and after some sunday-city-lunch thingy we went to take al ook.

I don't really known what to 'do' with these shots. It isn't really all about the shots, but also about the stories (like this shot. the shot itself isn't all to good. but then again, is the story? Its a bit usettling that you can be almost in an explosion, as a photographer. but why is this a winner?).

Another 'funny' thing is that there are really touching or gruesome stories. But what shots do you remember? I remember this one because you can just feel the pain, in stead of the unbelieve at seeing severed limbs.... And ofcourse this shot if not only for the sheer size of the animal.

Any thoughts on the shots (Very personal ofcourse, didn't do a complete review obviously) of about the 'contest' in general?
