St Basil's Cathedral

So here is what we have been busy building for Leo's Russian project homework. A few bits still needed clicking on to place when I took this but have a feeling Leo may not be able to resist whisking it into school today so thought I'd better snap it almost done before it disappears from sight.

He really enjoyed it and was only defeated by the really fiddly bits. We struggled with those too but it was only a few small pieces that were a problem so the kit was well worth the effort.

I like these optional homework projects they give out as they just give a broad topic and let them do whatever they like. So for his dinosaur project he got busy snapping photos and this Russian one was all about punching out and clicking together. It beats writing or drawing hands down as far as Leo is concerned.
